Privacy policy

Last updated 14 September 2026

People tell LAI things they have not told anyone. That deserves a policy you can actually read, so this one says what happens in plain words, and every line of it was checked against the code that runs.

LAIfe is made by Cultiv8 Hub. If anything here is unclear, or you want something done with your data, write to hello@cultiv8hub.com and a person will answer.

What LAIfe stores

On the website demo, which anyone can use without an account, the server stores a one way hash of your IP address with a date and a count, purely to stop one visitor using the free replies all day. The address itself is never written down and the hash cannot be turned back into it.

What LAIfe does not do

Who else can see it

Four companies process data so that LAIfe can work, and one of those four only rarely. Nobody else does.

If you subscribe, the payment is handled by Google Play or by PayHere, who take your card details directly. Cultiv8 Hub never sees or stores a card number.

If you talk instead of typing

The microphone button uses your browser’s own speech recognition, not ours. We never receive the recording and we store no audio at all: what reaches LAIfe is the text that appears in the message box, after you have read it and pressed send. Be aware of one thing we do not control, though. Some browsers, Chrome among them, transcribe by sending the audio to their own servers, while others do it on the device. Which one yours does is the browser maker’s decision and is covered by their privacy policy rather than this one. If that matters to you, type instead; nothing in LAIfe needs the microphone.

Reading a message out loud works the other way and stays entirely on your device: it uses the voice already installed on your phone or computer, and nothing is sent anywhere to do it.

What is kept on your phone

LAIfe keeps a copy of your work in your browser or app storage so it opens instantly and keeps working with a poor connection. Signing out clears it, so a shared phone does not leave your conversation behind for the next person. Reminders are scheduled by Android on the device itself; there is no push server, and no notification is sent from our side.

How it is protected

What you can do

Data is kept while your account exists, and goes when you delete it. There is no other clock running.

Children

LAIfe is not designed for children and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly keep data from a child. If you believe a child has made an account, write to us and it will be deleted.

One thing that is not a privacy matter, but matters

LAI is a coach, not a therapist, doctor, lawyer or financial adviser, and it is not an emergency service. If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, please contact your local emergency number or a crisis line where you live.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Anything that meaningfully affects what is collected or who sees it will be told to you in the app rather than quietly edited here.
